Quincy update :)

I took Quincy in for her two week check up and she's doing awesome. She is now 6 lbs 2.5 oz and 18.5 in. She is still sleeping really well and not fussy at all. We just love her, she already has a very laid back personality ( We're not sure where she got that ). Most people who have seen her agree with me when I say she looks like her dad. I think she makes some of his expressions.
Wylie had a carnival at his school so excuse his hair do, but he is so proud to be a big brousin ( brother + cousin ). He is a lot of help. He thinks she's so cute but boring. Happy Fall!!! Finally cool weather.... Yippy:)

*Quincy Ann*

Ok, Im going to say something I've always said I would never say " She's Perfect " in every way! We just love her. She's too small for her car seat so we have to put a little blanket between her and the seat belt. She sleeps about 4hrs at a time in the night and 3hrs during the day. She's eating really good. She doesn't cry hardly at all. We are so happy to have her home from the hospital. THANK HEAVEN FOR LITTLE GIRLS!!!!!!!

It's a Girl!!!!!!!!!!!

Here is our sweet baby, Quincy Ann Winters. She is the sweetest thing. Born 9-8-09 at 1:20pm via C-section. She was 5lbs 7oz and 17 1/2 inches. She has brown hair and blue eyes.
I thought this was so cute, but I don't thing she did. She sure likes to be wrapped up and snuggled.
She's off most of these plugs now but this is a little glimps at what she's been through.
Shawn got me the most beautiful birthstone earrings and necklace. Carl got Quincy these little boots and spurs.

We are still having my baby shower on Saturday from 11-1. Quincy is staying in the hospital awhile, but Im going home in the morning. We'll keep everyone posted on her progress.

Almost 35 wks!!!

Is summer over yet? It's still so hot. Wylie just celebrated his 7th birthday I can't believe he's that old. He is just the best kid ever. On Tuesday the 25th I went to the hospital for my regular non stress test and we discovered I was having some pretty good contractions. So they sent me over to Labor & Delivery, 5hrs and 2 shots to stop the contractions later they released me to go home. They also decided that since I was only 33 1/2 wks and already dilated to a 2 they gave me a steroid shot to help develop the baby's lungs. At about 6 that night I started having contractions agian so Shawn and I went back to the hospital. I did progress a little more I'm now at a 3, they gave me another shot to stop them and it seemed to work. So for the last week I have been doing a lot of lying around which I hate. Wylie has been bringing me breakfast in bed every morning before school, which is actually a difficult task for anyone, because of my restricted diet but he's got it down. We've also been playing a lot of battleship and watching a lot of spoungebob. Anyway the Dr said we need to make it to 36 wks and 37 would even be better for the baby to be able to home right away. Baby shower invites got sent out last week so everyone should be getting them, it's at my house Sat. the 12th from 11-1 come eat and chit chat. I can't wait to see everyone. Hopefully this baby will wait that long.
