Almost 35 wks!!!
Is summer over yet? It's still so hot. Wylie just celebrated his 7th birthday I can't believe he's that old. He is just the best kid ever. On Tuesday the 25th I went to the hospital for my regular non stress test and we discovered I was having some pretty good contractions. So they sent me over to Labor & Delivery, 5hrs and 2 shots to stop the contractions later they released me to go home. They also decided that since I was only 33 1/2 wks and already dilated to a 2 they gave me a steroid shot to help develop the baby's lungs. At about 6 that night I started having contractions agian so Shawn and I went back to the hospital. I did progress a little more I'm now at a 3, they gave me another shot to stop them and it seemed to work. So for the last week I have been doing a lot of lying around which I hate. Wylie has been bringing me breakfast in bed every morning before school, which is actually a difficult task for anyone, because of my restricted diet but he's got it down. We've also been playing a lot of battleship and watching a lot of spoungebob. Anyway the Dr said we need to make it to 36 wks and 37 would even be better for the baby to be able to home right away. Baby shower invites got sent out last week so everyone should be getting them, it's at my house Sat. the 12th from 11-1 come eat and chit chat. I can't wait to see everyone. Hopefully this baby will wait that long.

How is the crib coming along? Do you have names picked out?
Good luck keeping the baby in for another week or two. P.S. I had quite the urge to type "her".
hang in there nikki. some of you want to come early. and some of us were miserable on the other side of the spectrum. our prayers will be with you and your little one. only a few more weeks! it's all worth it!!
nikki, good luck... hopefully all will go well and "it" can wait a little longer to come. i can't wait to see the crib... it looks awesome in the "preview" picture.
