Back 2 work update # 2...

Ok here we go...

NO CRYING
Fair - 1rst flight Las Vegas to San Diego ( a little slow but all the right drinks )
NO CRYING
Needs Improvement - 2nd flight San Diego to Reno ( still slow and forgot a whole row of drinks I had to go back for them ( oh well, they'll live right ), & some got the wrong drink, & some got 2 drinks).
NO CRYING
Good - 3rd flight Reno to Boise ( everyone got the right drinks in a timely fashion )
NO CRYING
Excellent - 4th and final flight for the day Boise to Spokane ( feeling good, going fast, & everyone got the right drink )
NO CRYING
Excellent - In bed with a glass of wine enjoying the TV & bed to myself.

FAILED - ***Them BAMM out of no where, I found water streaming down my face!! I thought what the hell is this? Is it because the investors on the show I was watching wouldn't invest in the entrepreneur idea? Was it the absolutely beautiful Spokane night? Was it the wine? Or just maybe, was is because I was exhausted and all I could think about was cuddling with my most perfect, sweet, wonderful baby girl? YEP, that was it. Well here it is the end of my second day and I'm still alive, Shawn's still alive, & baby is still alive, happy and healthy. So, I guess with maybe a few more tears & a lot more wine we'll survive me going back to work.

HaPpY HoLiDaYs!!!!

Quincy made a haul for her first Christmas! Believe it or not the only things in this picture that we got her is the skirt (that is being used as an afro in this picture) and the little clydesdale horse. The rest was from Family and Friends. She is so loved (or other words SPOILED). She is getting so big and so fun.
I go back to work on January 8th. :(... I am excited and extremely sad all at the same time. I loooooove my job and miss it so much, but I can't stand the thought of leaving her. Hope you all had a great Christmas with your Families.

Bittersweet :():

Ok- I'm going to have to type fast or I'm going to cry:( Our sweet little Wylie boy and Amanda moved to Las Vegas. For those of you who don't know Wylie is our Nephew, he has lived off and on with us for a few years. The bittersweet part about it is, Shawn and I have been married for 9.5 years and only lived alone for 2 of them! We are so excited to just be our new little family, but I have never been so sad. I miss everything about him (well... Almost everything). He is such a fun little boy, and Fuuuuunny! He made everyday a little brighter! Shawn and I think of him as our first child ( we got to practice with him ) j/t. We still get to have him a once or twice a month, but it's just not the same. He brought me breakfast in bed all the time, he thought it was great if he woke up before me. And bedtime was always dramatic! Shawn and I each had to take turns going downstairs to tuck him in (for some reason he didn't want us down there at the same time). The part I miss the most is he looooved family night, this could be any night of the week or every night of the week. It could be: playing the music loud and dancing around the house, playing board games, or just watching a movie together. It didn't matter what it was, it made us FAMILY!

I don't usually like to show off the pictures I take, but I couldn't resist. If you only knew how hard it is two get these two to look at the camera and smile at the same time, you might appreciate these more. Anyway, I think they are adorable so here they are: Ali & Brody

Let it snow - Let it snow!!!

Random Pic's

Give a man a fish or is it teach a man to fish? It doesn't matter, check out these monsters Shawn and Wylie caught.  The fish Wylie is holding is 19" long.

Happy Birthday to my sweetest little niece Kacey who turned 2 on Friday. This was my first attempt at making a cake using fondant frosting. Kacey couldn't wait, she started picking at her little lady bug cake before the party started. She's a very spoiled little girl.

Shawn with his sweet baby girl. Those are her first pair of wranglers and cow"GIRL" boots.

Our friends Kimber & Derek's baby Peityn was born 9 days before Quincy. So many baby's, so little time!!!

Halloween & Quincy...

This is my cutest little niece Ali.

This is Porter and Quincy at there first Halloween party. Quincy wet through all her clothes so she had to borrow Porters jammy's. He is about a pound heavier and about 2 to 3 inches longer.

Oh my, how she's growing! Quincy is a little over 9lbs now. You can't see them in this picture but she has the brightest blue eyes. She is such a good baby, she only cries when she's hungry. She is staying awake a lot more these days and I swear I've got her to smile at me a few times in the last couple days. She loves to be snuggled.

Quincy update :)

I took Quincy in for her two week check up and she's doing awesome. She is now 6 lbs 2.5 oz and 18.5 in. She is still sleeping really well and not fussy at all. We just love her, she already has a very laid back personality ( We're not sure where she got that ). Most people who have seen her agree with me when I say she looks like her dad. I think she makes some of his expressions.
Wylie had a carnival at his school so excuse his hair do, but he is so proud to be a big brousin ( brother + cousin ). He is a lot of help. He thinks she's so cute but boring. Happy Fall!!! Finally cool weather.... Yippy:)

*Quincy Ann*

Ok, Im going to say something I've always said I would never say " She's Perfect " in every way! We just love her. She's too small for her car seat so we have to put a little blanket between her and the seat belt. She sleeps about 4hrs at a time in the night and 3hrs during the day. She's eating really good. She doesn't cry hardly at all. We are so happy to have her home from the hospital. THANK HEAVEN FOR LITTLE GIRLS!!!!!!!

It's a Girl!!!!!!!!!!!

Here is our sweet baby, Quincy Ann Winters. She is the sweetest thing. Born 9-8-09 at 1:20pm via C-section. She was 5lbs 7oz and 17 1/2 inches. She has brown hair and blue eyes.
I thought this was so cute, but I don't thing she did. She sure likes to be wrapped up and snuggled.
She's off most of these plugs now but this is a little glimps at what she's been through.
Shawn got me the most beautiful birthstone earrings and necklace. Carl got Quincy these little boots and spurs.

We are still having my baby shower on Saturday from 11-1. Quincy is staying in the hospital awhile, but Im going home in the morning. We'll keep everyone posted on her progress.

Almost 35 wks!!!

Is summer over yet? It's still so hot. Wylie just celebrated his 7th birthday I can't believe he's that old. He is just the best kid ever. On Tuesday the 25th I went to the hospital for my regular non stress test and we discovered I was having some pretty good contractions. So they sent me over to Labor & Delivery, 5hrs and 2 shots to stop the contractions later they released me to go home. They also decided that since I was only 33 1/2 wks and already dilated to a 2 they gave me a steroid shot to help develop the baby's lungs. At about 6 that night I started having contractions agian so Shawn and I went back to the hospital. I did progress a little more I'm now at a 3, they gave me another shot to stop them and it seemed to work. So for the last week I have been doing a lot of lying around which I hate. Wylie has been bringing me breakfast in bed every morning before school, which is actually a difficult task for anyone, because of my restricted diet but he's got it down. We've also been playing a lot of battleship and watching a lot of spoungebob. Anyway the Dr said we need to make it to 36 wks and 37 would even be better for the baby to be able to home right away. Baby shower invites got sent out last week so everyone should be getting them, it's at my house Sat. the 12th from 11-1 come eat and chit chat. I can't wait to see everyone. Hopefully this baby will wait that long.

Yes, this is Emmy with Wylie, Erin, Polly, and Little miss Molly locked in Polly's kennel. I have no idea how all four of them fit in there, but I like it! This is my kind of baby sitting.

A sneak peek at the crib... It's still in the building process but it looks AWESOME so far.

32 weeks!!

Oh' wowwie... How time fly's. I can't believe we only have less than 8 weeks till we have our little one. This weeks apt.'s went really well. Baby is still growing at a average pace and we're still both very healthy. Shawn is building this amazing log/rod iron crib. I am so excited to see the finished project. For anyone who didn't know he is very talented he made my log bed about 7 or 8 yrs ago and he built wylie a bed about 5 yrs ago. We get complements on them all the time. I'll take pic's when it's done.

3lbs.- 3oz.

Baby update: I had to go in for an ultrasound yesterday so we can monitor our baby's heart, lungs and size (due to the diabetes). Baby is weighing in at 3lbs 3oz (which is in the 43%) and looks very healthy. I felt like it was a very positive appt. They will induce labor sometime between the 37th and 39th week. So our 10-10-09 due date will be at least a week early. I see the RN at the hospital every week and my Dr every other and we will have a ultrasound every 4 wks, So we'll keep everyone updated.

Dang!!! Insulin....

Ok... so the fabulous diet and exercize didn't work. My blood sugar levels are still to high so now we are starting insulin. I'm also having another ultrasound next week... So at least we get to see our baby agian, that's good news. Who knew being pregnant isn't as easy as it looks? J/T. We are still very excited and I feel great. I am still flying, but I have cut back my hours quite a bit. I still have the 2nd trimester energy, so apparently baby doesn't know we are now in the 3rd. Have a great 24th weekend, I'm trying to get Shawn to find somewhere cold for us to go but he keeps telling me we can't go to antartica this weekend, "oh, well maybe another time".

28 weeks and counting!!!!

OMG!!! Is it hot? or is it just me. We are 28 weeks prego now and I'm definitely feeling the heat. Good news: baby is still kickin and movin, last time we heared the heart it was 165 bpm. Bad news: I have gestational diabetes. Yuck!! The first few days I took my blood my numbers were really high ( not good, means I have way to much sugar in my blood that's going straight to the baby) I have a meal plan I follow and I have been doing really well, my numbers are down to were they should be most of the time. I can't believe I had to hear the words "DIET and EXERCISE" while I'm pregnant. I almost smacked the Dr just at the thought. J/T... Shawn's been holding the doughnuts and ice cream hostage and all I can think about is candy and pop cycles. Anyway, all is good for us and we hope you all are enjoying the summer with your Families.
