Little miss Quincy is 4 weeks old tomorrow. I had her pictures taken when she was 2 weeks. She is a very happy and healthy baby.

This is Quincy with her little friend Porter. Our friends Carl and Krissy Clements had there baby boy 12 days before Quincy was born. They were due 5 weeks apart.

Quincy update :)

I took Quincy in for her two week check up and she's doing awesome. She is now 6 lbs 2.5 oz and 18.5 in. She is still sleeping really well and not fussy at all. We just love her, she already has a very laid back personality ( We're not sure where she got that ). Most people who have seen her agree with me when I say she looks like her dad. I think she makes some of his expressions.
Wylie had a carnival at his school so excuse his hair do, but he is so proud to be a big brousin ( brother + cousin ). He is a lot of help. He thinks she's so cute but boring. Happy Fall!!! Finally cool weather.... Yippy:)

*Quincy Ann*

Ok, Im going to say something I've always said I would never say " She's Perfect " in every way! We just love her. She's too small for her car seat so we have to put a little blanket between her and the seat belt. She sleeps about 4hrs at a time in the night and 3hrs during the day. She's eating really good. She doesn't cry hardly at all. We are so happy to have her home from the hospital. THANK HEAVEN FOR LITTLE GIRLS!!!!!!!

It's a Girl!!!!!!!!!!!

Here is our sweet baby, Quincy Ann Winters. She is the sweetest thing. Born 9-8-09 at 1:20pm via C-section. She was 5lbs 7oz and 17 1/2 inches. She has brown hair and blue eyes.
I thought this was so cute, but I don't thing she did. She sure likes to be wrapped up and snuggled.
She's off most of these plugs now but this is a little glimps at what she's been through.
Shawn got me the most beautiful birthstone earrings and necklace. Carl got Quincy these little boots and spurs.

We are still having my baby shower on Saturday from 11-1. Quincy is staying in the hospital awhile, but Im going home in the morning. We'll keep everyone posted on her progress.

Almost 35 wks!!!

Is summer over yet? It's still so hot. Wylie just celebrated his 7th birthday I can't believe he's that old. He is just the best kid ever. On Tuesday the 25th I went to the hospital for my regular non stress test and we discovered I was having some pretty good contractions. So they sent me over to Labor & Delivery, 5hrs and 2 shots to stop the contractions later they released me to go home. They also decided that since I was only 33 1/2 wks and already dilated to a 2 they gave me a steroid shot to help develop the baby's lungs. At about 6 that night I started having contractions agian so Shawn and I went back to the hospital. I did progress a little more I'm now at a 3, they gave me another shot to stop them and it seemed to work. So for the last week I have been doing a lot of lying around which I hate. Wylie has been bringing me breakfast in bed every morning before school, which is actually a difficult task for anyone, because of my restricted diet but he's got it down. We've also been playing a lot of battleship and watching a lot of spoungebob. Anyway the Dr said we need to make it to 36 wks and 37 would even be better for the baby to be able to home right away. Baby shower invites got sent out last week so everyone should be getting them, it's at my house Sat. the 12th from 11-1 come eat and chit chat. I can't wait to see everyone. Hopefully this baby will wait that long.

Yes, this is Emmy with Wylie, Erin, Polly, and Little miss Molly locked in Polly's kennel. I have no idea how all four of them fit in there, but I like it! This is my kind of baby sitting.

A sneak peek at the crib... It's still in the building process but it looks AWESOME so far.

32 weeks!!

Oh' wowwie... How time fly's. I can't believe we only have less than 8 weeks till we have our little one. This weeks apt.'s went really well. Baby is still growing at a average pace and we're still both very healthy. Shawn is building this amazing log/rod iron crib. I am so excited to see the finished project. For anyone who didn't know he is very talented he made my log bed about 7 or 8 yrs ago and he built wylie a bed about 5 yrs ago. We get complements on them all the time. I'll take pic's when it's done.

3lbs.- 3oz.

Baby update: I had to go in for an ultrasound yesterday so we can monitor our baby's heart, lungs and size (due to the diabetes). Baby is weighing in at 3lbs 3oz (which is in the 43%) and looks very healthy. I felt like it was a very positive appt. They will induce labor sometime between the 37th and 39th week. So our 10-10-09 due date will be at least a week early. I see the RN at the hospital every week and my Dr every other and we will have a ultrasound every 4 wks, So we'll keep everyone updated.

Dang!!! Insulin....

Ok... so the fabulous diet and exercize didn't work. My blood sugar levels are still to high so now we are starting insulin. I'm also having another ultrasound next week... So at least we get to see our baby agian, that's good news. Who knew being pregnant isn't as easy as it looks? J/T. We are still very excited and I feel great. I am still flying, but I have cut back my hours quite a bit. I still have the 2nd trimester energy, so apparently baby doesn't know we are now in the 3rd. Have a great 24th weekend, I'm trying to get Shawn to find somewhere cold for us to go but he keeps telling me we can't go to antartica this weekend, "oh, well maybe another time".

28 weeks and counting!!!!

OMG!!! Is it hot? or is it just me. We are 28 weeks prego now and I'm definitely feeling the heat. Good news: baby is still kickin and movin, last time we heared the heart it was 165 bpm. Bad news: I have gestational diabetes. Yuck!! The first few days I took my blood my numbers were really high ( not good, means I have way to much sugar in my blood that's going straight to the baby) I have a meal plan I follow and I have been doing really well, my numbers are down to were they should be most of the time. I can't believe I had to hear the words "DIET and EXERCISE" while I'm pregnant. I almost smacked the Dr just at the thought. J/T... Shawn's been holding the doughnuts and ice cream hostage and all I can think about is candy and pop cycles. Anyway, all is good for us and we hope you all are enjoying the summer with your Families.

9 Years and Pregnant...

We celebrated our 9th Anniversary on June 2nd. We flew into San Fransico  and drove to Portland on Highway 101. It was probably the most amazing drive we have ever done. We had so much fun. The Redwoods were so cool. These pictures don't do it justice. We ran around and climbed all over them like little kids. We also stayed on a couple Oregon beaches.

Shawn picked me 9 flowers for our Anniversary...

This is the Golden Gate bridge outside San Fran...

Look how little we look...

This was fun. We drove thru a tree...

Look at how strong my cute husband is...

This was one of our favorite spots, the trees were so awesome...

This was outside our hotel room in Brookings, Or.

The last couple weeks...

We have had a little fun in the last couple weeks. Shawn and I had our 20wk Dr appt. that included our ultrasound ( No, we didn't find out what it is ). Baby is measuring right on scheduled for Oct 10th. It was so much fun to see the little thing moving around and it appeared to be sucking it's thumb and it had the hick ups. Everything looked good and healthy and we are so excited. I just started feeling the baby move a couple days ago. I am now tired of trying to fit into my regular close so Amanda and I went maternity close shopping yesterday. It was funner than I thought it would be and now I have a new wardrobe and what girl doesn't love that.

 Hungry? Emmy 1 1/2
Oh' thank heaven for little girls... From Left Kamille, Dakota, Emmy, and Kacey. We had the horses out and these little girls were going crazy. These pint size little cowgirls are soooo cute.

We went camping over the weekend. It rained pretty good for a while, when the sun finally came out Wylie and Erin disappeared, and a half hour later this is what we found. They said they were just having a little mud fight...

Shawn and Wylie take down an old shed. I think Shawn had as much fun as Wylie.

Mothers day weekend

Am I considered a mom yet? That was the topic of discussion, Shawn was probably just wondering if he had to go shopping to get me a gift or not. In the end he made the right choice for his life... he-he-he... He is so cute he got me the cutest plant for my patio and a gift card to Rod Works (very good choice). We also got new black dirt for my flower beds and finished planting all the fun new stuff. My dad got my mom a new 4 wheeler to match his, so our family went to West Canyon and rode around and cooked dutch ovens. It was so much fun. I am so Thankful for my mom. She is the best. I'm also Thankful to be "mom" this year.

Another 4 weeks down.

So we went to our 16 week baby apt. today. We listened to the heart beat again. It's still about 160 bpm. I think it is already acting like its Daddy. The nurse had a hard time finding it cause it was moving all around. Anyway, we just wanted to keep everyone updated. I still feel good, just tired. Our next apt. is the end of May, for the ultrasound. Sorry we still have not changed our minds about finding out the sex, it will just have to be a surprise.

Baby K

Landons friend got married on Friday, He and Kacey were in the Wedding Party. I thought they looked so cute. She has never been good at letting anyone take a picture or her so I have never put one on my blog. She is a year and a half already, and as sassy as can be. For those who don't know Landons my little brother.

Pictures from our horse ride on Shawns b-day

This was the first ride Wylie and I had been on this year, the weather was great. My face actually got sunburned. Shawn goes every weekend. I don't like to go unless it's warm. The dogs loved it. Wylie is so fun to take. He surprises me at how well he is starting to ride. He is picking thing up we haven't even taught him. Shawn rode our new horse (Stead). We got him from Montpelier, Id.
We got a lot of comments about our last post. Thank you all so much for all your support. We are scared and excited.

Yeah! We don't believe it either

First things first, sorry we have not posted in awhile. We've been busy, but not with anything to interesting just the normal "bump" and grind. We celebrated Shawns 31rst Birthday, riding and Bbqing with friends. Wylie is still growing and acting just like every other boy around. He's so much fun and we are thankful we have him as much as we do. But, the reason for this "Holly Crap Post" is: Shawn and I are expecting our first Child. Holly S@#*! I know thats what we said. No just teasing. We are very excited. The baby is due 10-10-09. We went to our 12 week appt. and our Dr. did a sonogram, so we have pictures. Yippy! We also got to hear it's little heart beat. 162 bpm. Also, I know we suck, but we are not going to find out what the sex is because we really don't care. We just want a healthy baby. We also think it will be fun to start a pole and see what everyone else thinks. Our families are so excited. My Mom is so funny, she's already started little blankets for us. Wylie is excited to be a big Brouzin: (Brother + Cousin). He also thinks we are having a boy! Anyway Surprise! We will keep you posted on the baby's progress.

Viva Las Vegas!!!!

Because of my work schedule, I'm spending the week in Vegas. I'm on call all week. Shawn and I drove my Honda down on Saturday, and I'm staying at my good friend Deanne's. Shawn and i drove to the Hoover Damn to see the progress on the new bridge. It still looks like its going to be awhile before it's finished. I forgot my camera, but we did have a disposable one in the car so as soon as I can I'll post some Pic.'s. I'm also hoping to go see the Valley of Fire. Later--Peace out!

CHEERS!!!!!

Happy New Year! Our fam has had an awesome Holiday season this year. We were so lucky to get to see so many of our friends we hav'nt seen for awhile. We were also very spoiled. We recieved so many gifts that are over the top great. Shawn's Mom gave us a gift cert. to see a Movie, we went to Marly and Me and we loved it, However; for all you animal lovers I cried (but, I cry at most movies). It was also very funny, we recommend it! Wylie was very spoiled too. He had a great X-mas, he does'nt like to get up in the morning so it took alittle nugging to get him moving but it didn't take long before he was wide eyed and buired in boxes and wrapping paper. Thanks to everyone that came to our X-mas Party this year you all made it very special for us.
The ski season has finaly come. We plan on taking advantage of the great snow we have gotten. Have a great New Year, Eat, Drink and have a prozac (j/t).
